This past Memorial Day I found myself on YouTube and came across one of the rare pre-roll ads that didn’t have me pressing the “skip ad” as quickly as possible. I watched till the end. And it stuck with me. It’s a really nice idea from Budweiser. And well done too. I appreciate how the moment of silence is not totally silent. You can hear birds and a bit of wind. And if you read carefully, you’ll see that the “silence” was recorded at Calverton Military Cemetery on Long Island, New York.
Budweiser took this further. They shut the lines at all 12 breweries in the US for a minute on Memorial Day as well.
