Check out this video from Twitter’s official blog… it shows activity on the social media site from around the world as new years made it’s way across the globe. The video starts around midnight in Japan where Tokyo has many tweeters. Not all parts of all time zones respond equally though… if you didn’t know better, you might think there was no continent of Africa.Guess what though? If Amazon were to do a similar visualization of people reading on Kindles, some countries in Africa would soon start showing signs of light.
