Season of Sharing … Pro-Bono Ad Copy for Crucial Non Profit
BKW is honored to be able to help the San Francisco Chronicle Season of Sharing Fund — and by extension many of our neighbors in need — by creating messaging for their COVID-19-focused fundraising ads.
The San Francisco Chronicle Season of Sharing Fund provides temporary assistance to help people living in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties.
Here are a few of the ads. More are set to appear in the print and digital editions of the San Francisco Chronicle.

BKW worked with the fund’s executive director Zev Lowe to understand their messaging goals and constraints. Zev is an old friend/client of BKW from his days at Worldreader.org.

The fund has distributed more than $147 million to help individuals and families in need. In 2019-2020, their fundraising campaign raised $9.8 million for housing assistance, critical family needs, and food banks.
